In the midst of life’s complexities, finding balance and peace can seem elusive. Yet, it’s in these moments that we discover our greatest potential for growth, healing, and transformation. As a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse Psychotherapist, I invite you to explore your journey with me, navigating the intersections of mind, body, and spirit.
My therapeutic expertise lies in supporting individuals struggling with trauma, including acute, complex, and post-traumatic stress disorder. I also work with clients experiencing depression, anxiety disorders, and psychosis. My approach is informed by evidence-based therapies, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT).
My nursing background uniquely enables me to understand the intricate connections between physical and mental health. I recognize how physical symptoms can impact emotional well-being and vice versa. This holistic perspective allows me to address the whole person, not just the presenting issue.
I also have a special interest in supporting first responders, providing a confidential and supportive environment to process their experiences and find resilience.
When I’m not working, you can find me exploring new destinations (18 countries and counting!) or immersed in classic literature. These experiences broaden my perspective, foster empathy, and inspire creativity in my practice.
When working with me, you can expect a warm and empathetic listener, collaborative goal-setting, evidence-based strategies for lasting change, and a safe space to explore your thoughts and emotions.

Hello! My name is Angel. I have an undergraduate degree in Psychology and a Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology with Distinction. I am also a certified classical pianist through the Royal Conservatory of Music.
I have a passion for collaboratively working with children (4-21 years of age) who are dealing with anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, difficulties in regulating their emotions or who just need someone to talk to. I provide a safe, comfortable, and friendly environment for the client; while ensuring they receive the resources and skill-set, to not just be confident in the session but outside of it as well.
I use an integrative approach, combining Cognitive Behavioural therapy (CBT), solution-focused and narrative techniques within a person-centred approach to help support and guide clients. I believe that patience, empathy, authenticity, and unconditional positive regard are beneficial to implementing techniques effectively. I understand that each child is unique, therefore sessions should be tailored to the child’s specific needs, and goals. It is an honour and privilege to be a part of your child’s therapeutic journey.
