As a parent myself, I certainly understand the hardships families can experience and I am here to help you bridge that gap and reconnect with yourself and your loved ones.

For over 20 years, and through a trauma informed and anti-oppressive lens, I have worked with children, teens, and their families in navigating complex family dynamics that can leave parents and children feeling disconnected from themselves and each other, issues such as; separation/divorce, parenting challenges, stress associated with school and/or work, learning disabilities, ADHD, anxiety, depression, gender and/or sexuality identity, relationships, grief and loss.

I believe that we are the experts of our own lives, and from a client centered and narrative therapy approach, it is you who will tell your story and you who will drive our work together. I am here to provide a safe space that will foster trust and allow clients to feel they can be vulnerable, that they are supported, and most importantly, are heard. I am here to learn from you, and to acknowledge the diverse factors that shape your lived experiences. Additional therapeutic approaches that I utilize are Strength Based Approach, Solution/Goal Focused Therapy and Systems Theory.

I am hopeful that together we can create a path tailored just for you that leads you to living life as your authentic self, to achieving goals you have set out to accomplish, and reconnects you with those most important to you.

I am a Registered Psychotherapist with the Ontario College of Psychotherapists and Accredited Music Therapist (MTA) with the Canadian Association of Music Therapy. I have a master’s degree in Music Psychotherapy at Wilfred Laurier University in Canada. I am passionate about supporting and empowering individuals on their journey to healing and well-being by focusing on the power of the music experience. I provide individual and group music psychotherapy services for individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, learning disabilities, autism, domestic abuse and eating disorders. In my work I use music experiences in addition to the traditional types of verbal communication. We typically think of music as entertaining or fun. While this is true there are many other reasons why music can be therapeutic. No matter how young a person is, what language they speak, or if they can speak at all, music can help children communicate without words! Music can adapt to whatever the child is experiencing and is especially good at helping kids express their feelings. I offer services in English, Hebrew and Russian.
