Psychotherapy, also known as counselling, is the 'skilled and principled use of relationship to facilitate self-knowledge, emotional acceptance and growth and the optimal development of personal resources.' Psychotherapy is a form of healing, that works within the context of a relationship, it provides you with a safe place to explore what is troubling you, process difficult emotions, make sense of what is troubling you, and master life skills to flourish.

There are a number of different professionals that are qualified to perform psychotherapy, they include: doctors, nurses, psychologists, occupational therapists, social worker and registered psychotherapists. Here at The Story Isn't Over, we have the privilege of working with a number of these professionals; Cindy Stulberg is a psychologist and supervises a number of our therapists, Sumiyyah is an Occupational Therapist, Raj and Narmala are Social Workers, Trish, Bryan, and Carmina are Registered Psychotherapists.
We each have different interests, and specialities, please take your time to look at their profiles, and find the therapist that is most suited to your particular needs. If you would like help choosing a therapist, please don't hesitate to call, text, or email and we will help you.

Jackie is highly qualified with 2 Masters Degrees; Jackie holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Alberta, a Master of Arts degree in Psychotherapy from Wilfred Laurier University, and a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology degree from Western University.

Tiffany is has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from York University, and an MSc in Art Psychotherapy, at Queen Margaret University in Edinburgh. Tiffany is is excellent with children, and can work with children experiencing a wide range issues. She utilizes, art, games and make believe play to facilitate healing.
